She says (about him):

Recently I found a list that I had written years ago. It was nestled in the front of a journal. It was my “list”. I think most girls write a similar list, even if only in the pages of their minds. The list was as follows:

1. Has an intimate and personal relationship with his Heavenly Father
2. Worthily holds the Priesthood
3. I am his Princess! His reason for living
4. Can make me feel like the most beautiful woman in the whole world
5. Understanding of my faults; loves me all the more because of my weaknesses
6. Has an amazing family and an amazing relationship with his family
7. Has a heart of gold – would gladly do anything for anyone
8. Educated, intelligent – has a desire to increase his worldly and spiritual knowledge
9. Good communicator; emotionally stable
10. Witty, good sense of humor – yet does not have to be the center of attention

Not only did I found my soul mate when I met Adam, but I found someone who perfectly fulfilled my “list”. Adam is THE COOLEST person I know.  He makes me smile, he makes me laugh. We just get each other. We make a good team. He does treat me like a princess, even if sometimes I don’t act like one. He is fiercely loyal to those he loves, including his Heavenly Father, his family and his friends. He is handsome and kind and I feel lucky to have him to walk by my side in this journey called life.

Adam is one fantastic father! Nothing makes my heart more happy than to hear the click of the key in the door at the end of the work day and to see Macey and Finley stop whatever they are doing and RUN to the door to greet daddy. They light up when he is around. I love to hear Macey say “Hi dad!”, love to watch them sleep in his arms, love to watch him and Finley wrestle, love that they are best buddies, always.

He says (about himself):

I love to be outside, almost regardless of the weather.
I love the beauty of every season.
I love to hikecampsnowboardlongboardwakeboard.
I love the feel of the sun on my skin (or the cold wind up on the slopes).
I believe that there’s nothing like fresh air to brighten up anyone’s day.
Some of my favorite places to be include the mountains above Salt Lake, the red rocks of southern Utah and any beach I can get to.

I am slightly obsessed with cars.  I love Jeeps, muscle cars and European sports cars.  One of my favorite hobbies is to look at car websites to learn about the latest innovations from the auto industry.  I have been caught staring at many a Corvette and have been known to zone out if I pass a car show.  One day I would love to restore a classic.

I love sports.  My two favorite are football and volleyball, in that order.  I have been into football for as long as I can remember.  I prefer college to pro, but any football is good football if you ask me.  I got into volleyball in junior high, playing in gym class.  I played whenever I could, and took a couple of classes in college.  I would like to think that if I hadn’t been so vertically challenged, maybe football and volleyball could have been more than just a hobby.  Regardless, I love to get out and have fun when I can.

Above all these, I love my family the most.  I would gladly put all of the above away if they asked me too.  They bring me more happiness than I could have ever imagined and I would never hesitate to sacrifice anything for them.  They have been and will continue to be the greatest blessing in my life and I am so grateful for that.
